Puppies are ready for their new homes at 8 weeks. We raise them to be healthy and happy, using Puppy Culture guidelines. We get them started on real puppy food, and they (kind of ) have the idea about where to potty... but not really. This is the tough job and responsibility that you will need to gently teach your puppy when you bring him home. Puppies need gentle teaching and learn best by having the actions repeated, associated with food or sound, and NEVER with any manner of punishment. Potty accidents are to be expected with a youngster, and there are some little needle teeth that need to be managed as well. Puppy needs a proper chew toy, nothing that can shred or come apart, and you'll have to be mindful of what you leave in the floor. Shoes smell like you, and are just the right texture for chewing.
